Good morning, I've been by here a few times..ya know just the quiet visits. Was gonna 'chat' with you last night, but then the game was on and the no-hitter had me a little too anxious to concentrate on anything else. Anyhow, went camping with Shelley and Randy (her boyfriend) this weekend. You know me, I LOVE camping but I was a little hesitant....getting out, taking the kids and the pup. I'm sooo cautious with Taylor and the being around people who 'don't get it', but it was GREAT, I LOVED it! Just what I needed and Tay did SUPER (well, you know she would. It was more I did SUPER! ) You would have loved it, I actually kept thinking that to myself, "Mom would have LOVED this!) Their camper is really nice, the campsite was HUGE and the park/beach...couldn't ask for nicer. They have kayaks, FOUR of them, so Me, Kelsey, Bry and Seth went out. The kids all had fun! Kels took a fishing pole and fished from her Kayak. Bry and Seth goofed a little then they'd dock for a bit at the beach and swim. Wish I would have taken my good camera and got some pics out there, pretty awesome view, but then that's me, in the midst of all the fun I think "Man wish I had my camera", lol. Shelley is a big help so it worked out really well. My mind and body was able to relax, GOOD!!! The pup (Cub) socialized and made friends with EVERYONE! He was the main attraction everywhere we went. He's really is a good puppy! You'd like him =) It was the perfect 'end of summer' get away! Sooo glad I went! Then, last night before the game started Bry wanted to go fishing. So I sat out on the dock for a bit with him. Tay was OUT...the trip wore her right out so she pretty much slept the rest of the evening/through the night. Bry was catching fish after fish after fish. Even caught two turtles on his hook (YIKES) Blue Lake Tavern had a live band, which I've never been able to hear across the lake before. They were playing a mix of everything, so it was nice to sit and listen while he fished. Last song they played 'Take Me Home', by John Denver. I tell ya, it gave me chills. You're just EVERYWHERE aren't you Mom. The PERFECT weekend, sealed with your approval <3 I love you and I miss you like CRAZY!! ((((((HUGS))))))) ******KISSES****** PS.
