I love how cooking lifts my spirits =) The heavenly smells of pulled pork roast (plain for me BBQ for Bryson) are floating through the house, along with fresh rolls to put it on and homemade blueberry crisp with the blueberries I picked this summer. MAKES ME THINK OF YOU, so thought I'd stop by and say hi. Think I'll even take it up a notch and make some mashed potatoes and gravy. I've be hard at working out so a cheat day won't hurt me a bit ;) Bryson got an A+ on his spelling test yesterday, he's doing really well in school. He's not real fond of his teacher though, which has me concerned. He said she yells, A LOT! I asked him if he wanted me to talk to her and he says "NOOOO, she'll yell at me, she yells at everyone!" He's scared of her, and I don't like that! Send me a little guidance on how to broach this, will you? Tay is doing good. Her head is as nasty as ever though, but I have her nausea under control. Hoping to see the Wound specialist this coming week when we go in for chemo. She'll also get her helmet so that alone should help with the healing process. At least I can apply all the necessary 'fix it' meds without her ripping them off! Wish she'd gain some weight though. Size of a 5 year old,weighing only 37 pounds. She too is doing good in school though. She made me a pretty sunflower picture last week and she LOVES being read to. All in all I should be lucky and happy. She's so much further along than what they said she'd be. My Cubbies....well they are doing awesome! I predicted they'd win 87 and so far they are at 95 and headed to the postseason. The BIG game is set for Wednesday and honestly, I don't think I'll be able to watch. I don't know...I just get so worked up, emotional and well it's CrAZy! Think I'd be better watching with one eye closed the results Thursday morning. Crazy how a sports team can have such and effect on me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them sooo much =) Anyhow, better get going here. I've got TONS of other not so fun stuff to get done today. Love and miss you!!! (((((HUGS)))))) *******KISSES*******
