Took Bry to the Immuno Docs Mom. Have to say it was a little unsettling....going there. The office is in the old Heme/Onc (Dr C), where we first started out with Tay. I had a 'feeling' when I saw the addy and sure enough! I walked in and the 'memories' took over. I remember walking in with Taylor for the first time when she was 3 weeks old. You were with me. As soon as we walked in Dr Axtell passed by us. I remember feeling 'anger' with a little bit of hate even...for he was the Dr who told us, right after she was born, 'she isn't going to make it' and 'don't hold onto hope'. I remember seeing all the sick kids hooked up to IV's and thinking 'what in the world are we doing here?? Taylor isn't THAT sick! All those memories slammed me and here I was walking in the same office with Bryson...made me nauseous! Anyhow the appointment...didn't find anything out. He had a fever when they took his temp and they drew a good 5 vials of blood. He'll call 1st of next week with results. Even the lab was the same one we used to take Tay to. I remember when she got her 1st draw there...they used a razor/blade and sliced the bottom of her foot and squeezed the blood in a tube. She cried like crazy and I told them they were never gonna do it that way again! Today for Bry I took freezy spray and he did GREAT!! We went to toys r us and chuck E cheese afterwards! We both had fun, both places were empty so we had everything to ourselves =)Bry picked out some cool stuff (dinosaurs) and a Wii game (Mario Kart) I found a CD player kinda sorta similar to Tay's old ones and picked one up for her. I had to open her last fisher price one last night and they don't make them anymore, so when this one goes =( Well Mom,gonna go. Making cookies for Bry and I to eat while we watch the Cubbies!!
