Guess what came =) Yes, yes...your Christmas ornament. Other than the engraving being lighter than I thought it'd be, I LOVE IT! Sooo, I assembled your new tree so I could hang it and ick...I did not like the new tree at all! Little and ugly So, I went downstairs and brought up the old one...thought 'one more year'. Put it up and all was well. UNTIL, I woke up this AM and it had fallen over. UGH!! Thankfully only a couple of the glass ornaments were broke and not any of the ones of Love I've bought in your memory over the years we damaged, so I was a little relieved. Jarrod just walked in, he came for laundry, coffee and breakfast, haha! And said "I think Grandma knocked it it over cuz she wants you to use the new one." Lol. He said whatever, we'll make it right. SOooo...leaving it up to your Grandson. Well today is the first day of riffle season. I remember back when this day was always a BIG thing at your house. The guys would prepare for this day for months it seemed. Now it's just another day around here. I met this gentleman on the elevator the other day when I was taking Tay for chemo. I don't know his name, but the 30 second conversation that took place will remain with me forever. No one has EVER looked at Taylor or I the way he did. You see most look at us with sympathy or they don't look at all. BUT, this man looked at me, then down at her and says 'Enjoy every minute with her, I have a 9 year old with down syndrome and we're loosing her'. The envy...WOW. I saw sadness, but the envy this man showed hit my heart HARD! He went on to tell me that he had just signed consent to have her organs donated in hopes of saving another child. As his eyes never left Taylor he said that since having his daughter he has a special place in his heart for special needs kids. His voice was crackling and tears were falling and then he backed out of the elevator and the doors closed. I don't even know her name. I was so overtaken with his heartbreaking story....I forgot to ask him what his daughter's name was. Make sure she gets a warm welcome will you. God Bless her family! I love you Mom (((((HUGS)))))) ******KISSES*******
