Mom, I am missing you so much.Oh how I wish I could call you and let you know Mandy is not doing well. I have been taking her to the vet for the last two weeks. I noticed on her back paw that it was raw and no hair. First the doctor said it was a hot spot and put a bandage on it and gave her one of those lamp shades to put on her head so she couldn't lick it, but mom she could still lick it. We tried a different size but she could still get to it. Yesterday the doctor took some fluid out of her sore spot and put it under the micro scope and said she had some mass cells. The doctor said she needed surgery to remove it and send it to the lab for a biopsy. Today I took her to have a second opinion. This doctor said the area was to small to remove it because it was to close to a bone. She said she would do the biopsy first. We are going to go with this doctor. Mandy will have the biopsy this Thursday. We are praying that it's not cancer. She is only six years old. Mom I am having such a hard time with losing you, I just don't want to go through this again. I know Mandy is only a dog, but everybody loves her. When Tammy and Shelly came down for Lisa and Boyd's wedding they fell in love with Mandy and both went home and bought a little dog. Dylan is the one I worry about, he loves her so much. Dino and I are just as crazy about her also. Mom, I miss you so much!!! Love and think of you every day. Becky
